Today I am going to share the recipe for \u201cSookha Kala Chana\u201d or \u201cDry chickpeas\u201d. I made it on \u201cAshtmi\u201d for \u201cPrasad\u201d during \u201cNavratri\u201d festival. It was accompanied by \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuchpakrahahai.in\/2015\/06\/poori-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Poori<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuchpakrahahai.in\/2015\/09\/sooji-ka-halwa.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sooji Ka Halwa<\/a>\u201c. I was too busy since then with all the flowing guests and festivities and could not share it then. It is quite a healthy as it is rich source of proteins, vitamins and minerals.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">List Of Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chickpeas (Kala Chana)-500 grams<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Water-3 cups<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Salt-2 tsp ( or to taste)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cooking Oil-4 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cumin Seeds- 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chopped Green Chillies-2<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ginger Paste-1 &amp; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coriander Powder-1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chilli powder-2 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turmeric powder-1\/4 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Garam Masala-1 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mango Powder-2 tsp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Steps To Prepare:<\/h3>\n<p><u><b>Step1:<\/b><\/u><br \/>\nWash the \u2018Kala Chana\u2019 thoroughly and then keep them overnight or 5-6 hours dipped in water.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kuchpakrahahai.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151021_095133.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"257\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p><b><u>Step2:<\/u><\/b><br \/>\nThe \u2018Kala Chana\u2019 or Chickpeas would have swelled after being soaked in water. Add them to a cooker and add water and salt to it. When the oil is heated, add cumin seeds to it. Add garam masala and mango powder to the water and mix well so that all the spices are evenly dissolved in water.
